Description
:
A vulnerability has been reported in Python, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
For more information:

The vulnerability affects version 2.2.3 and 2.3.5. Prior versions may also be affected.
Solution
:
Update to version 2.4.1, which does not include the vulnerable version of the PCRE library.
Some Linux vendors have released fixed packages for version 2.2.x and 2.3.x.
