Description:
Francois-Rene Rideau has reported a vulnerability in common-lisp-controller, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in validating the ownership of the cache directory, and can be exploited by malicious users to compile malicious code into the directory, which is executed by another user if that user has not used Common Lisp before.

Solution:
The vulnerability has been fixed in version 4.18 (unstable) in the CVS repositories.
