Description: kcope has discovered a vulnerability in wzdftpd, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to the lack of sanitisation of SITE command parameters before passing them as command line arguments to custom SITE command handling scripts. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary shell commands using the "|" or ";" characters.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 0.5.4. Other versions may also be affected.
