Description: A vulnerability has been reported in MailEnable, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified boundary error in the handling of W3C logging. This can potentially be exploited to cause a buffer overflow and may allow arbitrary code execution.
The vulnerability has been reported in the following versions:
* MailEnable Professional version 1.6 and earlier
* MailEnable Enterprise version 1.1 and earlier
Solution: Apply cumulative update:

NOTE:
* The previous hotfix (MEIMAPS-UPD0508221400) caused the IMAP service to crash on valid search strings.
* The previous hotfix (MEIMAPS-UPD0510120000) caused folder synchronization issues with WebMail, and potential UID errors and MIME decoding issues on PDAs.
A MSXML 3.0 handle leak issue has also been fixed.
