Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in AIX, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in tcpdump when handling BGP packets. This can be exploited to cause it to go into infinite loop via a specially crafted packet.

The vulnerability may be related to:
SA15634

The vulnerability has been reported in AIX 5.3.
