Description

Andrew Christensen has reported a security issue in Paros, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information and bypass certain security restrictions.

The problem is that the built-in hsqldb database has a default password and is remotely accessible. This can be exploited to disclose database content and may also be exploited to run stored procedures.

This may further be exploited to execute arbitrary commands. However, this has not yet been shown.

The security issue has been reported in version 3.2.5 and prior.

Solution
Update to version 3.2.7.
