Description: A vulnerability has been reported in KOffice, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the KWord RTF importer. This can be exploited to cause a heap-based buffer overflow via a specially crafted RTF file.
Successful exploitation allows arbitrary code execution when a malicious RTF file is opened.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.2.0 through 1.4.1.
