Description:
A weakness has been reported in HP-UX, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The weakness is caused due to an unspecified stack size error.

The weakness only affects HP9000 servers running HP-UX B.11.23 on the Itanium platform.

Solution:
Apply patch.

HP-UX B.11.23:
Install patch PHKL_33713, PHKL_33714, or later.
