Description:
Donnie Werner has discovered a vulnerability in Typsoft FTP, which can be exploited by malicious users to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in handling the RETR command. This can be exploited to crash the FTP service by sending the "RETR" command without sending the "PORT" command.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.11. Prior versions may also be affected.

NOTE: The vulnerability may only be exploitable in certain configurations. e.g. using the default configured "Anonymous" user account.

Solution:
Grant only trusted users access to the FTP service.
