Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in Chipmunk Forum, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting, script insertion, and SQL Injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "forumID" parameter in newtopic.php, quote.php, index.php, and reply.php isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

2) Input passed via the "img" BBcode tag and to the "url" field when setting a remote avatar isn't properly verified before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious user data containing a reference to a "javascript:" URI handler is viewed with the Microsoft Internet Explorer browser.

3) Input passed to the "start" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being used in SQL queries. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries to a certain extend by injecting SQL code. This can also be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting attacks via SQL error messages.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.3. Other versions may also be affected.
