Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in AIX, which has an unknown impact.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the "chcons" command. This can be exploited to cause a buffer overflow via an overly long input argument.

Successful exploitation requires that "DEBUG MALLOC" is enabled.

The vulnerability has been reported in AIX 5.2 and 5.3.
