Description: Juha-Matti Laurio has reported a vulnerability in CheckMark MultiLedger, which potentially can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.
The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in a 3rd-party compression library (DUNZIP32.dll) when extracting a backup file.
The vulnerability is related to:
SA12805
Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code, but requires that the user is e.g. tricked into restoring from a malicious ZIP backup file.
