Description: Nenad Jovanovic has discovered some vulnerabilities in Simple PHP Blog, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "entry" parameter in "preview_cgi.php" and "preview_static_cgi.php", the "blog_subject" and "blog_text" parameters in "preview_cgi.php", the "blog_subject", "blog_text", and "file_name" parameters in "preview_static_cgi.php", and the "scheme_name" and "bg_color" parameters in "colors_cgi.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 0.4.5. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 0.5.1.
