Description:
benjilenoob has reported a vulnerability in Invision Power Board, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

Input passed to the "adsess" parameter in "admin.php" when logging in isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 2.1. Other versions may also be affected.

It has also been reported that administrators can execute arbitrary PHP scripts in the upload directory via the "Task Manager". This has been reported in version 2.0.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Update to version 2.1.3.
