Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in "remshd" on HP-UX systems running in Trusted Mode. This can be exploited to gain unauthorised access to an affected system.

The vulnerability has been reported in HP-UX B.11.00, B.11.11, and B.11.23.

Solution:
Apply patches.

HP-UX B.11.00:
Install PHNE_33790 or later.

HP-UX B.11.11:
Install PHNE_33791 or later.

HP-UX B.11.23:
Install PHNE_33792 or later.
