Description: Irene Abezgauz has discovered a vulnerability in Struts, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed in the URL is not properly sanitised before bring returned to the user in a 404 error message when the requested resource do not exist. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of a vulnerable site.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in Struts version 1.2.7 on Resin, and has been reported in the same version on WebLogic 8.1 SP4 and SP5.
Solution: Update to version 1.2.8.
