Description: r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in CONTROLzx HMS, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
1) Some input passed in the customer interface isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Examples:
http://[host]/customers/domains.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/viewinvoice.php?invoiceID=[code]
http://[host]/customers/viewplan.php?customerPlanID=[code]
http://[host]/customers/referred_plans.php?ref_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/referred_plans.php?sort=id&order=asc&ref_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/viewusage.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/listcharges.php?customerPlanID=[code]
http://[host]/customers/pop_accounts.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/pop_accounts.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/databases.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/databases.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/ftp_users.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/ftp_users.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/crons.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/crons.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/pass_dirs.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/pass_dirs.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/zone_files.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/zone_files.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/htaccess.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/htaccess.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
http://[host]/customers/software.php?plan_id=[code]
http://[host]/customers/software.php?plan_id=35&domain=[code]
2) Input passed to the "sld" parameter in "register_domain.php" and the "customerEmailAddress" parameter in "login.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 3.2 and prior. Other versions may also be affected.
