Description: Michal Gizowski has reported a weakness in Kadu, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The vulnerability is caused due to an unspecified error in the message handling. This can be exploited to freeze or crash a vulnerable client by sending a specially crafted message with "rich_text" and image basic information via a Gadu-Gadu server.
The weakness has been reported in versions 0.4.2 and 0.5.0pre. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 0.4.3.
