Description: r0t has reported some vulnerabilities in OmniStar KBase, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "article_id" parameter in "comments.php", and the "category_id" and "id" parameters in "kb.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 4.0 and prior. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Apply patch.
