Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in GNOME gpdf, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of a vulnerable version of Xpdf.

The vulnerabilities affect gpdf version 2.10. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict use to PDF files from trusted sources only.

Some Linux vendors have issued updated packages.
