Description:
Two vulnerabilities have been reported in SimpleBBS, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

1) Input passed to the "name" parameter when adding a new topic isn't properly sanitised before being stored in a PHP script. This can be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.1 and has also been reported in prior versions. Other versions may also be affected.

2) Input passed to the "language" cookie parameter in "data/posts.php" isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

This can further be exploited to include arbitrary PHP code injected into the "logs/error.log" file via the "gl_session" cookie parameter.

The vulnerability has been reported in versions 1.0 and 1.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
