Description: Airscanner Mobile Security has reported a security issue in Pocket Controller Professional, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service).
The problem is caused due to missing authentication in the control management for certain actions. This can be exploited to turn off, reboot, or hard reset a vulnerable PDA by sending certain packets via a wireless connection to the PDA on port 5492.
The security issue has been reported in version 5.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 5.05 or later.
