|
|
Description: r0t has discovered some vulnerabilities in PhpWebGallery, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "sort_by" and "items_number" parameter in "comments.php" and the "image_id" parameter in "picture.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.5.1. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Some of the vulnerabilities have been fixed in version 1.5.2.
Note: SQL injection in the "items_number" parameter has not been correctly fixed.
Provided and/or discovered by: r0t
Changelog: 2005-12-27: Vendor released fixed version. Updated "Solution Status" and "Solution" sections.
2006-04-04: CVE reference added.
