Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in myBloggie, which can be exploited by malicious users to conduct SQL injection attacks and by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks and script insertion attacks.

1) Some input isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Example:
* The "category" parameter when adding a post.

2) Some input isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in an administrator's browser session in context of an affected site.

3) Input passed to the "commenttext" form field when posting a comment is not properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to insert arbitrary HTML and script code, which is executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when a malicious comment is viewed.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 2.1.2 and have also been reported in version 2.1.3beta. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
