Description:
Liz0ziM has discovered a security issue and a vulnerability in ADP Forum, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose sensitive information and conduct script insertion attacks.

1) The problem is that user credentials are stored insecurely in the "users" directory inside the web root. This can be exploited to disclose usernames and encrypted passwords.

2) Input passed to the "subject" field when posting a message isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious user data is viewed.

The security issue and the vulnerability have been confirmed in version 2.0.3 and has also been reported in version 2.0 through 2.0.2. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
1) Move the "users" directory out of the web root.
2) Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.
