Description: rgod has reported two vulnerabilities in WEBInsta Limbo, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks, and compromise a vulnerable system.
1) The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the register_globals emulation layer where the "_SERVER[]" array is not properly protected from being overwritten. This can be exploited execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site and manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is disabled.
2) Input passed to the "option" parameter in "index2.php" isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary PHP scripts from local resources.
A combination of vulnerability #1 and #2 can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code.
It is also possible to disclose the full path to certain scripts by accessing them directly.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 1.0.4.2 and prior. Other versions may also be affected.
