Description:
r0t has reported a vulnerability in ProjectForum, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.
Input passed to the "fwd" parameter in "/admin/adminsignin.html" and the "originalpageid" parameter in "/[groupname]/admin/newpage.html" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 4.7.0 and prior. Other versions may also be affected.
Note: It is also reportedly possible to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) by sending certain requests to the "pageid" parameter in "/admin/versions.html".
