Description: Some vulnerabilities have been reported in PHP-Fusion, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting, script insertion, and SQL injection attacks.
1) Input passed to the "sortby" parameter in "members.php" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
2) Input passed to the "rating" parameter in certain scripts including "ratings_include.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
This may also be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.
3) An error in the bbcode handling of "IMG" tags can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in a user's browser session in context of an affected site when a malicious message is viewed.
The vulnerabilities have been reported in versions 6.00.300 and 6.00.2x. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution: Update to version 6.00.301.
