Description: Preddy has reported a vulnerability in Timecan CMS, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "viewID" parameter and potentially other parameters in various scripts isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Solution: The vulnerability has reportedly been fixed in version 3.8 (fixes for versions 3.1 through 3.8 are available from the vendor).
Provided and/or discovered by: Preddy, RootShell Security Group
Changelog: 2006-01-11: Updated "Solution" section.
2006-08-04: Added CVE reference.
