Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been reported in teTeX, which can be exploited by malicious people to cause a DoS (Denial of Service) and potentially to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerabilities are caused due to the use of a vulnerable version of Xpdf.

The vulnerabilities affect version 3.0. Prior versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Restrict use to trusted PDF files only.

Some Linux vendors have released updated packages.
