Description:
ZwelL has discovered a vulnerability in eStara SoftPhone, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a user's system.

The vulnerability is caused due to a boundary error in the handling of SIP packets that contains SDP session data. This can be exploited to cause a stack-based buffer overflow and allows execution of arbitrary code via a specially-craft SIP packet sent to 5060/udp.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 3.0.1.46 and also reported in version 3.0.1.14. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 3.0.1.47.
