Description: Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has discovered a vulnerability in ACal, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions and compromise a vulnerable system.
The vulnerability is caused due to an insecure authentication process. This can be exploited to access the administration section by setting the "ACalAuthenticate" cookie parameter to "inside".
This can further be exploited to inject and execute arbitrary PHP code by manipulating the header and footer files.
The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 2.2.5. Other versions may also be affected.
