Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in BlogPHP, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.
Input passed to the "username" parameter during login, and the "blogphp_username" and "blogphp_password" cookie parameters in the authentication process is not properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.
Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.
The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.0. Other versions may also be affected.
Solution:
Update to version 2.0.
