Description:
Knud Erik Højgaard has discovered a vulnerability in Farmers WIFE, which can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an input validation error in the built-in FTP server listening on port 22003/tcp. This can be exploited to escape the FTP root and create or overwrite arbitrary files via directory traversal attacks.

NOTE: Exploit code is publicly available.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 4.4 SP2 and has also been reported in version 4.4 SP1. Other versions may also be affected.

Update to version 4.4 SP3.
