Description:
Steve Kemp has reported a vulnerability in Linley's Dungeon Crawl, which potentially can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to insecure execution of external programs during the saving and loading of games. These can be exploited to execute arbitrary commands with escalated privileges on systems where the game has been installed setuid or setgid.
