Description:
imei has discovered a weakness in MyBB, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose system information.

The problem is that SQL error messages are returned to the user. This can be exploited to disclose the configured table prefix via a specially crafted search request.

Example:
http://[victim]/search.php?s=de1aaf9b&action=do_search&keywords=a&srchtype=3

The weakness has been confirmed in version 1.02. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.03.
