Solution:
1) The vendor recommends placing the following policy rule in the beginning of every VPM Web Access layer or CPL Proxy layer that contains an ALLOW, DENY or EXCEPTION action:

http.method=CONNECT url.port=!443 DENY

The security issue will be fixed in version 4.1.4.

2) The vendor has not been able to reproduce this issue, which may be related to the first issue.
