Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in Powersave, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error in the daemon within the handling of a powersave action string sent by a client. This can be exploited by local users to gain escalated privileges.

Successful exploitation requires that the root user has started a X-session on the affected system.

Solution:
Update to version 0.10.22.

The vulnerability has also been fixed in unstable version 0.11.2 and later.
