Description:
Zone-H Research Team has discovered some vulnerabilities in SPIP, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and SQL injection attacks.

1) Input passed to the "id_article" and "id_forum" parameters in "forum.php3" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Some other unspecified parameters and scripts may reportedly also be affected.

2) Input passed to the "lang" parameter in "index.php3" isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

It is also possible to disclose the full path to "inc-messforum.php3" by accessing it directly.

The vulnerabilities have been confirmed in version 1.8.2-e and have also been reported in versions prior to 1.8.2-e and 1.9 Alpha 2 (5539). Other versions may also be affected.
