Description:
Some vulnerabilities have been discovered in DEV web management system, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting and script insertion attacks.

1) Input passed to the "City/Region" field when registering for an account isn't properly sanitised before being used. This can be exploited to inject arbitrary HTML and script code, which will be executed in an administrator's browser session in context of an affected site when the malicious user data is viewed.

2) Input passed to the "action" parameter in index.php is not properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

The vulnerabilities are confirmed in version 1.5. Other versions may also be affected.
