Description:
Tom Saville has reported a vulnerability in Gallery, which potentially can be exploited by malicious users to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to "util.php" allowing any users that has privileges to modify Gallery's album to include arbitrary files located on the server. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

Successful exploitation may allow execution of arbitrary code e.g. by modifying certain stored album data, but requires that the user has write access to the server.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.5.2. Other versions may also be affected.
