Description:
A vulnerability has been reported in SUSE Linux, which can be exploited by malicious, local users to gain escalated privileges.

The vulnerability is caused due to ld sometimes leaving empty RPATH components in certain binaries. This causes the dynamic linker to search for shared libraries in the current directory when running an affected binary.
