Solution:
Apply firmware updates.

Vulnerability #1 has been fixed in FortiOS 3.0 GA release and in FortiOS 2.80 MR 12.

NOTE: Reportedly, vulnerability #1 has not been fixed properly.

Vulnerability #2 has been fixed in FortiOS 3.0 MR1 release. A special build is reportedly available for users of FortiOS version 2.80.

Contact the vendor for details of obtaining the updated firmware.
