Description:
Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has reported a vulnerability in Magic Downloads, which can be exploited by malicious people to bypass certain security restrictions.

The vulnerability is caused due to the $passwd, $admin_password, $new_passwd, and $confirm_passwd" variables in "settings.php" not being initialised before use. This can be exploited to change settings (e.g. the administrator's password) within "config.php" without requiring a valid logon.

Successful exploitation requires that "register_globals" is enabled.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.1.3. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure the variables are properly initialised.
