Description: Aliaksandr Hartsuyeu has reported a vulnerability in HTML::BBCode, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct script insertion attacks.
Input passed in the "[url]" and "[img]" BBcode tags isn't properly sanitised before being converted to HTML. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected website.
The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.04 and prior, and potentially affects Perl applications that uses the module to convert BBcode tags.
Solution: Update to version 1.05.
