CVE reference:CVE-2006-0806

Description:
James Bercegay has reported some vulnerabilities in ADOdb, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

1) Input passed to the "next_page" parameter in adodb-pager.inc.php isn't properly sanitised before being returned to the user. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary HTML and script code in a user's browser session in context of an affected site.

2) Unsafe use of PHP_SELF in adodb-pager.inc.php can be exploited to conduct cross-site scripting attacks.

The vulnerabilities have been reported in version 4.71. Prior versions may also be affected.

Note: Some unspecified input validation issues have also been reported in various performance scripts such as adodb-perf.inc.php and perf-oci8.inc.php. However, granting access to these scripts reportedly already assumes that the user is permitted to execute SQL statements in the system.

Solution:
A fixed version will reportedly be released by the vendor.
