CVE-2006-0920

Description:
Illuminatus and h4cky0u have reported a vulnerability in Oi! Email Marketing, which can be exploited by malicious people to conduct SQL injection attacks.

Input passed to the "myname" parameters in "index.php" isn't properly sanitised before being used in a SQL query. This can be exploited to manipulate SQL queries by injecting arbitrary SQL code.

Successful exploitation allows the bypassing of authentication but requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled and username is known.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 3.0. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Edit the source code to ensure that input is properly sanitised.

Provided and/or discovered by:
Illuminatus and h4cky0u, h4cky0u Security Forums.
