Description:
rgod has reported a vulnerability in 4images, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information or to compromise a vulnerable system.

Input passed to the "template" parameter in "index.php" isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include files from local resources via directory traversal attacks. This can be further exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code by uploading a specially-crafted image file containing PHP code embedded in the EXIF metadata.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 1.7.1. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
Update to version 1.7.2.
