Description:
James Bercegay has reported a vulnerability in phpRPC, which can be exploited by malicious people to compromise a vulnerable system.

The vulnerability is caused due to an error within the "decode()" function in rpc_decoder.php when decoding received XML data. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary PHP code via a specially-crafted XML request.

The vulnerability has been reported in version 0.7 and prior. Other versions may also be affected.

Solution:
The library is reportedly no longer being maintained.

Use another product.
