Description:
Nemesis Security Audit Group has discovered a vulnerability in SPiD, which can be exploited by malicious people to disclose potentially sensitive information.

Input passed to the "lang" parameter in scan_lang_insert.php isn't properly verified, before it is used to include files. This can be exploited to include arbitrary files from local resources.

Successful exploitation requires that "magic_quotes_gpc" is disabled.

The vulnerability has been confirmed in version 1.3.1 and affects only when used on the Windows platform. Prior versions may also be affected.
